The Sri Lanka Committee became a registered charity in Sri Lanka in July 2005 but is still working together with UK Medical Aid to Sri Lanka. Most projects will be managed by the SL committee in the future.

Application for new projects may be forwarded through the Sri Lanka committee. However, the UK committee for Medical Aid to Sri Lanka holds the right to make the ultimate decision as to whether a project will be funded or not.
