Some of the hospitals we have helped at the request of the local Consultants who are in-charge of patient care

.

The National Hospital in Sri Lanka, Colombo
Donated an Audiometer (cost £3,500) to the National Hospital. This is the only audiometer to date in this biggest hospital in Sri Lanka used everyday to test hearing of patients attending ENT clinics

.

Donating the audiometer to His Excellency the Sri Lanka High Commissioner in the UK

Donated 2 Flexi-flow feeding machines to the Burns Unit, National Hospital, Colombo for gastrostomy feeds

District Hospital, Polonnaruwa
Donated a range of medical/ surgical equipment including an autoclave (Donation from Imperial College Union
Sri Lankan Society), pulse oxymeter, ECG Monitor, Defibrilator, drip pumps, surgical instruments and anaesthetic tubes

General Hospital, Matara
Donated a syringe driver and a pulse oxymeter

District Hospital, Panadura
Donated a nebuliser for the baby unit

Teaching Hospital, Kandy
Donated Orthopaedic nails and screws in addition to the following items
Renal Transplantation Unit
Donated £3000 worth of surgical equipment to start Renal Transplantation surgery in this unit

Funded an Audiologist’s visit (Ms Lewis) to the ENT Unit, Teaching Hospital, Kandy - provided training on testing hearing of new-born babies using Brain stem Evoked Responses. Also donated hearing aids to this department to be fitted to hearing impaired patients

Donated a Clinical Audiometer, Otoacoustic emissions equipment, Sound Level Meter and a Free Field Audiometer (2002) and a range of behind the ear hearing aids for children (worth over £22,000)

Donated a Pulse Oxymeter,  Autoclave and a Defibrillator (Donation from Imperial College Union -Sri Lankan Society)
